Another Chelsea player could be set to leave the club before the end of the transfer window according to reports.
The Guardian claim German side Borussia Dortmund are plotting a loan move for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old has not featured for the Blues this season in the Premier League and Borussia Dortmund are set to convince Hudson-Odoi to join them by offering the England international more game time.
Hudson-Odoi’s long-term desire is to remain at Chelsea and work his way up to a first-team regular, but recognises the need for first-team footbal and the Blues are waiting to see if Dortmund make an official offer.
Hudson-Odoi’s chances of getting game time at Chelsea looks slim this season as he is way behind Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in attack and also behind Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta in the right wing-back position.
Hudson-Odoi rejected the England U21 call-up during the international break and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel revealed the winger is frustrated with his lack of game time.
Tuchel said: “Personally I could see the advantage in having some minutes and being in a leading role for the Under 21s but he decided differently so he will deal with the consequences.
“He is not happy with his situation but he never ever brings his frustration to work.”
