Jorginho beat Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and also Chelsea teammate N’Golo Kante to win the UEFA men’s player of the year award.
The 29-year-old won the award after winning the UEFA Champions League and Super Cup with Chelsea and also the European Cup with Italy.
Upon winning the award, Jorginho gave an interesting speech, as he thanked everyone who supported him and also those that doubted him.
Jorginho had faced lot of criticisms since moving to the Premier League with Maurizio Sarri in 2018, and the Italy international has become a far better player under Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea fans were thrilled by his speech on Thursday.
