Done deal: West Ham and Chelsea reach agreement on transfer of player

West Ham have verbally agreed a £26 million deal to sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea this summer, according to The Athletic.

The Blues are open to selling the Frenchman this summer and he has attracted interest from West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and several other clubs.

However, despite Chelsea and West Ham reaching an agreement for the transfer of Zouma, personal terms are holding up the deal.

Zouma reportedly wants a ‘significant salary increase’ and wants to be paid £125,000-a-week should he move to the London Stadium this summer.

With a week left to the end of the transfer window, Chelsea and West Ham would be hoping the situation can be resolved.
