The draws for the Champions League have been done, and Chelsea got quite a favourable group draw, as the Blues have been drawn to face Juventus, Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo in Group H.
Former Chelsea star Joe Cole believes that the defending champions have what it takes to scale out from this group easily and has told the Chelsea board to start scouting hotels and venues ahead of getting further in the competition.
“Juventus, they’re not the threat that they would have been two or three years ago when they seemed to be beating everyone,” Cole said on BT Sport.
“Malmo is the enigma – they’ve not been in the competition a while but that’s a good away trip, the fans are going to enjoy that one.
“And Zenit St Petersburg, that’s where the final is going to be.
“I don’t want to get above of myself but they can start scouting hotels and venues.”
