Manchester United did good and quick business in the summer transfer market, as United have gone on to sign Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.

Many pundits are backing Manchester United to do well this season and possibly finish above Chelsea in the race for the Premier League title.

However, Manchester United legend Roy Keane has admitted that he is worried about Chelsea and Manchester City following deals for Romelu Lukaku and Jack Grealish respectively.

Inasmuch as Keane rates United’s signings very well, he believes Chelsea and Manchester City have the edge.

Asked about Manchester United’s summer transfer dealings, Keane told ITV: “They are two very good signings, particularly Varane with his experience and the problems at the back. Sancho, a young, talented player who did well in Germany.

“But I still think with what Man City have done and Chelsea [signing] Lukaku, Man United still need one or two into the group to really challenge this season.”
