According to Goal, Spanish side Real Madrid are in advanced talks with Rennes to sign Chelsea transfer target Eduardo Camavinga.
Los Blancos have turned their attentions to sealing a late move for the 18-year-old after pulling out of negotiations for PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.
The report revealed Real Madrid have agreed a €30million fee for the teenager who has just one year left on his Rennes contract.
Camavinga is now set to have a medical before sealing a deadline day transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu on a five-year deal.
The Blues were strongly linked with a move for the midfielder but never submitted an official bid for the Ligue 1 star.
Camavinga broke into the Rennes senior squad as a 16-year-old in 2019 and became the third-youngest player in Les Bleus’ history when making his international debut in a 4-2 Nations League win over Croatia last September.
He was valued at around €100million by Rennes last year but his value has dramatically reduced as he has just one year left on his contract.
