Chelsea striker showed good striker’s instincts as he netted Chelsea’s winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea felt at home at the Emirates Stadium as the Blues dominated large spells of the game.
Timo Werner and Kai Havertz combined beautifully midway into the first half to score the first goal for Chelsea.
With 20 minutes left of the game, Arsenal pulled level through a Granit Xhaka header. It didn’t take long as Tammy Abraham immediately punished Arsenal for their woeful defending to make it 2-1.
Speaking after the game, the match winner revealed his pleasure as he has scored against Arsenal yet again.
“I love coming here, and even though it’s a friendly, I always love scoring goals,” the striker told Chelsea TV.
“Luckily for me, it was the winning goal again.
“We’ve been working on our pressing, whole pre-season, and it paid off today for the second goal.”
Meanwhile, the Gunners are believed to be keen on signing Abraham from Chelsea, but reports claim Chelsea won’t sell if they don’t get a striker this summer.
