Arsenal fans were not pleased to see their team outplayed by Chelsea on their home soil on Sunday.

The Gunners are yet to score a goal or get a point this season as they have lost their first two games of the season 2-0 respectively.

The Gunners fans booed the team at half time and also as at the full-time whistle, as they weren’t pleased with the result.

It didn’t end there, as some fans vented their anger directly at their manager Mikel Arteta as he made his way home on Sunday evening.

Several fans mobbed the car of their manager and urged their former midfield hero to resign from his job as manager.

One supporter could be head asking: “Arteta, was that good enough? Please leave the club.’

Another man said: “Arteta, do yourself a favour. Mikel, do yourself a favour, please leave.”

Speaking after the game, Arteta told BBC MOTD: “We tried, they are a top side and that is why they won the Champions League they were the better team today.

“With the quality players they have, they find the solutions, and congratulations to them for the way they played.”
