Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has always played down any talk linking Chelsea with the title, with many believing that Chelsea are among the favourites for the title.
Chelsea have started the season on a perfect note, first with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace and now a 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Tuchel was asked whether Chelsea’s start to the season was proof that the club can challenge for the title, but the German responded: “We are still in reality, we were fourth last season and we needed help from our rivals.
“We are capable to produce top performance this is what we have proved in the last half a year and we would like to continue. We have the feeling that we have something to improve and we just want to close the gap.
“If you want to compete for any title we need a strong squad and it is my job to manage the squad and we need a good balance between competition and friendship and pushing each other.
“Because this was maybe the key factor in the last half a year. We have a strong squad and we have a lot of games to play.”
