Chelsea and West Ham have reportedly agreed a fee of £25m for Blues defender Kurt Zouma.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel had remained open to selling the Frenchman and revealed in a press conference earlier this month that whether Zouma stays or leaves the club, he wouldn’t mind.
Zouma is set for a move to the Hammers, and the deal is expected to be concluded before the end of the transfer window.
However, Tuchel has revealed that the 26-year-old centre-back isn’t with the Chelsea squad at the moment, and is currently with his family based on personal issues.
“There are negotiations between West Ham and Chelsea about Kurt,” said Tuchel.
“Kurt right now is not with us but not because of these negotiations.
“He’s had some personal and family issues. There are negotiations but to be very honest I don’t know where that leads right now. Those things can happen at this stage.”
Zouma played 36 times in all competitions last season for Chelsea but scored five Premier League goals for the Blues.
