Chelsea and Villarreal will play each other in the Super Cup final at the Windsor Park Stadium on August 11.
In what is the 46th edition of the competition, Champions League winners Chelsea will face Europa League winners Villarreal.
Villarreal boss Unai Emery has warned ahead of next week’s clash that he wants to win the Super Cup. Emery has admitted that he’s taking the game seriously and wants to show what his side is capable.
The former Gunners boss has won the Europa League a whopping four times and is now keen on winning the Super Cup for the first time.
He told UEFA: “I want to win the Super Cup because so far I haven’t. I’ve been involved in two [in 2014 and 2015 with Sevilla] and lost both.
“It would be a great way to finish off last season. We could once again create history and achieve something wonderful ahead of the new campaign.
“The Super Cup will show what we are capable of against a top team like Chelsea, the reigning European champions and, for me, the best team in the world.”
