The Blues had an open training session at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, as Thomas Tuchel put his players through some drills right in front of a number of Chelsea fans.

However, the training took a twist when a Chelsea fan shouted at Timo Werner to leave the club.

As the training drew to a close, most of the players were taking a break in the dugout, and a presenter walked around the West Stand Lower with a microphone.

One young man then said over the mic: “Let’s have it right – get Werner out the club.”

The Blues fans at the West Stand booed the fan, while one irate supporter was particularly disgusted and shouted: ‘No, you get out’ to the fan before asking ‘who are you? who do you think you are?’

Werner has now sent a message to Chelsea fans following the incident at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

“Thanks for all the love and support I received today, Blues Fans! Really appreciate it,” Werner tweeted.

I think as fans, we should support our players and not try to bring them down.
