Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger is convinced Thomas Tuchel’s decision play 3-5-2 formation against isn’t reason for Chelsea’s poor performance against Manchester City.
The European champions failed to get a shot on target against the Premier League champions at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Explaining why Chelsea played poorly against Manchester City, Rudiger said: “Analysing and saying it was about tactics, it’s just not true.
“I think it’s just that we did not perform at our high level that we usually do and we got punished for this. We just had a bad day at the office.”
