Manchester City were beaten 2-0 by PSG in Paris on Tuesday night.

Idrissa Gueye scored a stunning goal to put PSG in front in the first half. With Manchester City pressing hard for an equaliser in the second half, they were stunned by a late Lionel Messi goal.

To score the goal, Messi did a one two with Kylian Mbappe before hitting a fine shot into the net.

Former Chelsea women’s forward Eni Aluko believes Chelsea midfielders can also score this kind of goals if they learn to run off Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku was isolated in attack against Juventus, and Aluko has urged the Chelsea players to take advantage of Lukaku’s strength.

Aluko said on BT Sport after Wednesday’s defeat to Juventus: “The Messi goal last night, I loved it because of Mbappe’s touch, it made that goal.

“Lukaku will only need one touch and he’ll be on his way. Sometimes you’ve got to think ahead, it has to be a bit more creative. Havertz, Ziyech can play one touch around Lukaku and help him a bit more.”
