Thiago Silva had a good game against Tottenham and was one of the best players on the pitch as Chelsea beat Spurs 3-0.
Silva scored the first goal of the game, and it came at a timely moment as it gave the team confidence to dominate the game and end up 3-0 winners.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel revealed after the game that he was pleased with every aspect of the team’s display.
The veteran Brazilian turns 37 on Wednesday, and is still in top shape.
Tuchel said of his performance: “He was outstanding. He almost scored twice and he’s so strong.
“The delivery was good for his goal and we are very happy that he was able to score and open the game for us today but his performance even in the first half was outstanding. It was a fantastic performance.”
