Tottenham Hotspur fans have hailed Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as the best in the world after the midfielder came off the bench and impressed in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur dominated the first half of the encounter before Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel brought on Kante at half-time, who changed the game for the Blues.
Kante was brilliant defensively when the Blues didn’t have the ball and was also a force in attack when the Blues had the ball.
The France international scored Chelsea’s second as Tottenham Hotspur were thrashed 3-0 by the Blues.
Tottenham Hotspur fans took to Twitter to react to Kante’s performance at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium:
@CarlTHFC tweeted: “Kante the game changer as well, best recycler in world football. He’s unplayable 90% of the time.”
@VanDerVolks8 tweeted: “N’Golo Kante is unplayable and has been for 5 years. He’s a machine.”
@AlexanderBenRo1 tweeted: “It’s quite scary how much Kante changed the game today. Stopped everything going through and capitalised. We need depth, something which we are very much so lacking.”
@InnitSpurs tweeted: “Chelsea bring on Kante, take control of the midfield and go on to win the game comfortably. Spurs bring on Skipp. Um”
@THFCConnor tweeted: “Kante came on second half & dominated the midfield.”
@Superspurs131 tweeted: “Kante is the best in the world at what he does… Højbjerg is good at what he does…. not much more than that….”
@HowardTHFC tweeted: “I dunno. We played extremely well first half, but then they put on Kante and changed gear. We can’t compete with that class of team I’m afraid. Pity we had no width, but the top four are way way in the distance. It’s a bugger. #coys”
