Scoring 20+ goals a season in the Premier League is a feat only the best of strikers can achieve.
For Chelsea, the Blues struggled last season to score goals as Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud didn’t score enough to lift the team.
However, former Aston Villa winger Gabby Agbonlahor believes that Lukaku can score 28 goals this season and also backed Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo to score up to that amount of goals.
Ex-PL striker Gabby Agbonlahor spoke about what the duo are capable of doing this campaign, as he told talkSPORT: “Lukaku and Ronaldo can get 28 goals.
“You think of 28 and you think ‘wow its a lot of goals’ but the way he’s scoring at the moment and the way he’s playing you’d back him to score in 28 games.
“Say one goal in 28 games and maybe don’t score for 10 games, Lukaku can get 28 goals, Ronaldo can.”
