Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is back in action after missing the last two games for Chelsea.

Captain America as he’s fondly called, played for 82 minutes in Chelsea’s opening game of the season, but missed the next two games against Arsenal and Liverpool as he went into self-isolation having gotten the coronvirus.

Pulisic was back in action for USA on Sunday and played the full 90 minutes in a disappointing 1-1 draw with Canada.

Speaking after the game, Pulisic admitted he was glad to be back but also revealed that it was as well very tough for him.

“Obviously it was tough for me,” Pulisic said of his isolation.

“I wanted to be part of the team but I wasn’t 100 per cent ready.

“We made the decision to play today [against Canada] and I felt pretty good. It’s good to be back with the team and I just want to be here to help in whatever way I can.”
