Chelsea have confirmed midfielder Tino Anjorin has completed his loan move to Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow.
The academy graduate joined Lokomotiv Moscow on loan with the Russian side having an option to buy. The Blues also included a buyback option in the transfer as he’s highly rated by the club and Thomas Tuchel.
According to football.london, Tuchel had been impressed by the teenager’s performances in training following his takeover from Frank Lampard in January.
The report claims Tuchel rates Anjorin very highly and wasn’t too keen on losing him.
“He’s confident, he’s strong, he’s creative. He scores a lot of goals and assists a lot of goals in training,” said Tuchel last month about the academy graduate.
Anjorin made his senior Chelsea debut during the 2019/20 season in a big Carabao Cup win over Grimsby. That was followed up with his first Premier League appearance later that campaign, as a substitute against Everton in the final game before the break in football caused by the pandemic.
Anjorin played a part in last season’s Champions League success, starting a group-stage game against Russian side, Krasnodar, as well as playing two games in the FA Cup run to the final.
