Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea sets European record after 1-0 victory over Zenit

Chelsea beat Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night with Romelu Lukaku scoring the only goal of the game.

The Blues set an European record following Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Zenit St Petersburg at Stamford Bridge.

According to Opta, Chelsea have the most clean sheets in all competitions in all Europe’s big five leagues since Tuchel took charge of Chelsea.

Under Tuchel in all competitions, Chelsea have 23 clean sheets. Manchester City are second with 16 clean sheets, Sevilla and Monaco third with 15 clean sheets while Manchester United and Lille are fourth with 14 clean sheets.

The Blues have been supercharged under Tuchel.
