Reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed a decision Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia made in Fikayo Tomori’s transfer to AC Milan during the summer transfer window.
Tomori initially joined AC Milan on loan in January with an option to buy for €29million after failing down the pecking order under former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.
Following Tomori’s impressive loan spell at AC Milan, the Italian side made the transfer permanent during the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio has revealed Chelsea did not include any buy back clause in Tomori’s transfer to AC Milan unlike what the club did for Tammy Abraham’s transfer to AS Roma.
Fabrizio said: “Unlike what they did for Tammy Abraham deal, Chelsea have not included any buy back clause for Fikayo Tomori. AC Milan signed him paying full €29m buy option after 6 months loan.
“Tomori is now considered untouchable. AC Milan are loving him and his impact.”
