After full time at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, one thing was clear — Chelsea lost the game to the better side.

However, it wasn’t a time to criticise or lay blames, but to rather accept the defeat and move on.

The Chelsea players admitted after the game that City were the better side, and following the defeat on Saturday the Premier League table shifted again.

Chelsea are third in the league after six games but are level on points with Manchester City, Manchester United and Everton.

Speaking after the game, Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta said that the title wasn’t won or lost after Saturday’s defeat.

Cesar told Chelsea FC: “Every competition is different, every game is a new challenge.

“Against City we lost, we are disappointed, we had the chance to get three important points but now we have to analyse it, improve on what we did not do that well and move on to the next game because it is a long season.

“We did not lose the league on Saturday, just as if we had won we knew we did not win the league on Saturday, so we have to keep working.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
