With Timo Werner’s future at Chelsea in doubt, Chelsea scouts have reportedly identified a replacement for the German international.
According to Football London, Chelsea have identified Benfica forward Darwin Nunez as a potential replacement for Werner.
The 22 year old Uruguayan forward has scored six goals in just seven appearances for Benfica this season including a brace against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Nunez capable of both leading the line and playing on the left-flank. He isn’t a one-season wonder as he scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists last season.
