According to Football London via Daily Mail, Chelsea are set to reward Trevoh Chalobah for his breakout season with a new contract.
The 22 year old Chelsea academy graduate has established himself in the first-team this season under Thomas Tuchel.
Chalobah’s current deal is set to expire in 2022 and the Blues hope to tie him down to a long-term deal.
Talks between the club and Chalobah’s representatives have been going on for some time and a new long-term contract is close to being agreed.
Chalobah has made nine appearances for Chelsea this season and has scored twice. His latest appearance for the Blues came in the 7-0 thrashing of Norwich last Saturday.
