Chelsea star hailed as underrated by Chelsea fans after performance in Nations League semi-final

Chelsea fans have hailed Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso as underrated following his impressive performance for Spain their 2-1 Nation League semi-final victory over Italy on Wednesday night.

It was just his fourth cap for Spain and the first time the 30-year-old full-back had featured for his country since 2018.

Playing as a left-back in a back four for Spain, Alonso attacked with real intent for a Spain side that dominated the ball and was unlucky not to score.
