The Chelsea youth team bounced back from the 3-1 defeat to Juventus last time out, as the young Blues defeated Malmo this afternoon 4-2.

The away team had gone to an early goal by Isak Bjerkebo, as the 18-year-old scored for the visitors in the 6th minute. Despite all the chances created, no goal was recorded again in the first half.

Surprisingly, in the second half Bjerkebo was at hand again to double the lead for the visitors just before the hour mark.

However, the Chelsea side came out of their shell after Malmo’s second goal as goals from Dion Rankine, Simons Xavier, Bryan Fiabema and Thomas Silko sparked a second-half resurgence for the Blues.

Chelsea are second in the group with 6 points and are only just a point behind group leaders Juventus.
