Former Juve star claims Lukaku is struggling under Tuchel

Romelu Lukaku was a beast for Inter Milan over the last two seasons as Antonio Conte used the Belgian to perfection.

Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for Inter Milan, and it was enough to convince Chelsea to splash £97.5m on the Belgian international.

Lukaku started his Chelsea career with a bang as he scored four goals in his first four games. Surprisingly, critics are beginning to talk since he hasn’t scored in recent games.

Former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte had claimed that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel isn’t using the Belgian properly.

And now, former Juventus star David Trezeguet has claimed that Lukaku is struggling at Chelsea without Antonio Conte.

Trezeguet told La Gazzetta dello Sport via Bein Sport: “Lukaku has proved to be competitive, but the world changes without Conte. Chelsea’s playing style is not as direct. I think he is a strong No.9, but he needs support from the team.”
