Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has revealed that he’s in good form and feeling confident after yet another fine Carabao Cup display against Southampton.

Kepa was again a hero in the penalty shootout as he saved Theo Walcott’s shot which helped the team win the game 4-3 on shootout after a 1-1 draw at full time.

“I am confident, I feel good, I like the penalties so I am happy,” said Kepa.

“I am happy to help the team when I have the opportunity so I am really happy to go into the next round.”

Chelsea are through to the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup, and Kepa also admitted that the team has a difficult December – January fixtures to prepare for, and believes that it will be a decisive time for the team in our Premier League and Champions League fight.

“Now we have time until the next round, so we have time to focus on the Premier League and the Champions League,” added Kepa.

“We know December and January here in England are so hard but we have a big squad, a lot of players with quality, so we are ready.”
