Lampard, Conte and Mourinho linked with huge managerial job. Funds will be available to sign players like Mbappe

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund – led by Mohammad Bin Salman – is set to complete the takeover of Premier League side Newcastle United.

Following the Saudi government’s decision to lift its ban on Qatari broadcaster beIN Sports, the controversial takeover is expected to be completed imminently.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund is worth over £300 billion and the new owners want to sign some of the best players in the world.

Three former Chelsea managers – Frank Lampard, Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho – have all been linked with the Newcastle United job after the takeover is completed. Italy national team boss Roberto Mancini has also been linked with the job.

Current Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is expected to be sacked by the new owners.
