It’s been a decade since Chelsea recorded a victory in such a high margin as this, as the Blues defeated Norwich 7-0 at Stamford Bridge.

A Mason Mount hat-trick, coupled with goals from Reece James, Ben Chilwell and a Max Aarons own goal was enough for Chelsea to put seven past a hapless Norwich side.

See the player rating below

Mendy: Was on holiday all through the game, but got called into action with a sloppy pass from Ben Chilwell, but the Blues goalkeeper did brilliantly. 7/10

Chalobah: Confident display on the right side of defence. Was barely tested defensively but put in an assured display. 7/10

Thiago Silva: Composed in the middle of the back three, and his passing out of the back was top notch. 7/10

Rudiger: Barely had much to do in defence that he had to push forward to join the attack at times. 7/10

Reece James: Produced a delightful finish for Chelsea’s third goal of the game. He was brilliant going forward as Chelsea was barely troubled defensively. 8/10

Jorginho: Was taken off early in the second half with Chelsea already 4-0 up. He did his work in the middle of the park before given a rest by the boss. 8/10

Kovacic: Put in a fine through ball for Hudson-Odoi to score Chelsea’s second goal of the game. Had two assists. 8/10

Ben Chilwell: Was a constant threat in the game and he took his goal neatly. Had a good game and is having a great season. 8.5/10

Hudson-Odoi: Got a goal and an assist and was a constant threat all game. Fine performance on the left side of attack. 9/10

Mount: Surely, the man of the match as he got a first career hat-trick in this massive win. Got an assist for Reece James goal as he did brilliantly all game. 10/10

Kai Havertz: Had a quiet game. Didn’t do much to show he can adequately replace Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner. However, he had some good link up with the forward players at times. 6/10

Loftus-Cheek: Continued his fine form as he came on for Jorginho shortly after the hour mark. Was dangerous all through and got a fine assist for Mount’s third goal. 7/10

Ziyech: Tried hard to impress after coming on for Hudson-Odoi just before the 70th minute mark. 6/10

Ross Barkley: Decent performance after replacing Kai Havertz in the 69th minute. 6/10
