A Reece James brace and a penalty scored by Jorginho was enough for Chelsea to down Graeme Jones side.

See the player ratings below

Mendy: Was barely tested all game, although he had one scary moment where he dallied long on the ball. 6/10

Reece James: The 21-year-old is having a phenomenal campaign in the right wing-back position, and was definitely the man of the match with two well taken goals. He was a willing outlet down the right flank and had a very good game. 9/10

Christensen: Calm display at the right side of the back three. 7/10

Thiago Silva: Brought experience to the back line as his calm demeanour made it easy for Chelsea to pass out from the back. 7/10

Rudiger: Rugged as usual in his defending. Went forward to help the attack at times. 7/10

Kante: Had a decent game on his return to the team. Worked hard but had to be subbed off in the second half as Chelsea looked for a goal. 6/10

Jorginho: Controlled the midfield with ease as he dictated play in the middle of the park. His short passes, positioning and awareness just made the midfield better. Well taken penalty for Chelsea’s third goal. 8/10

Chilwell: Had scored four times in his last four Premier League appearances but couldn’t add to his tally for this game. Didn’t find much space down the left flank but he did well all the same. 6/10

Ziyech: Mixed performance as he had his moment of quality and also struggles. Had an excellent finish only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. Saw a deflected strike hit the post in the second half. Didn’t seem to show consistent quality. 6/10

Hudson-Odoi: Seems to be growing in confidence. Was always a danger down the left flank, and his ball into the box was converted by Reece James for Chelsea’s first goal. 7/10

Kai Havertz: May not have gotten on the scoresheet but he did okay. Won the penalty for the third goal and seemed to show a better work rate and movement in this game. 7/10
