Former Chelsea star Victor Moses moved to Russia side Spartak Moscow last summer on a season-long loan deal.

Moses’ move to the Russian capital proved to be a success, as he scored four goals and laid on as many assists in 19 appearances as Spartak finished runners-up to champions Zenit St Petersburg.

One of his strikes came in Spartak’s final game of the season, with his 82nd-minute goal earning them a 2-2 draw at Akhmat Grozny and ensuring they finished a point above city rivals Lokomotiv, securing a place in the third round of Champions League qualification ties in the process.

Spartak Moscow ended up signing Victor Moses on a permanent deal, but the 30-year-old has so far failed to impress this season.

The former Chelsea star recently came under heavy fire from fans of Russian club Spartak Moscow after some indifferent performances this season.

Moses is yet to score this season after his permanent transfer to the Moscow club.

“Is this really Victor Moses?” asked one angry Spartak fan after a recent disappointing showing by the former Chelsea forward.

Spartak Moscow fans have taken to social media to lash out at Moses over his underwhelming performances.
