There were so many positives to take after Chelsea’s 7-0 win over Norwich City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues put in an impeccable performance and at half-time, the scores was already 3-0. Chelsea would then score an extra four in the second half to make it one of Chelsea’s highest ever scoring game in the Premier League.
Besides the number of goals scored, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was pleased with intensity of the team’s display and just how the wing-backs performed their duties.
“When we put on the shirt we want to do what we do at the best level on this day and from the very start,” the Chelsea manager said.
“I’m very happy with the performance and very happy with the intensity and very happy with the effort that we put into this game.
“It was our fourth consecutive game as favourites and I like how we approach these games. There is no judging and there is no holding back. We played all in and that is what I like a lot, that’s why we deserve these victories at the moment and that’s the key.
“I’m very pleased that the wing-backs arrived in the box and that we have the freedom and we have constantly the spirit to attack the box and the spaces around the box and to score goals. It’s important that we bring bodies to the end of our attacks, it makes things easier.”
