Hakim Ziyech had sealed a £33m move to Chelsea last year, and the Moroccan star is in his second year at the club.
Ziyech is yet to impress for Chelsea on a consistent basis for all his quality.
The former Ajax man had a massive count of goals and assists with the Dutch giants, but upon signing up for Chelsea, he has only managed eight goals and five assists in 49 total Chelsea appearances.
Injury and a lack of form hasn’t helped Ziyech. He started this season on form during pre-season but got injured in our first competitive game of the campaign. He’s yet to reach such heights since then.
A similar incident happened under Frank Lampard when Ziyech was one of Chelsea’s best players, but injury hampered his form yet again.
Ziyech’s Chelsea career has been full of highs and lows, and according to 90min, the Morocco international is pushing to move away from Chelsea in the New Year.
Ziyech doesn’t suit Thomas Tuchel’s 3-4-2-1 and 3-5-2 system, and it is understood the 28-year-old attacker wants to leave to pursue more regular game time elsewhere as he’s struggling to nail down a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s XI.
The report also adds that Chelsea wouldn’t stand in his way of leaving the club and would consider selling him if he desires to leave in the winter transfer window.
