According to ESPN via TribalFootball, Spanish side Barcelona have asked about signing Hakim Ziyech or Timo Werner as they consider an alternative to Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reluctant to lose Sterling in January and Barcelona are now reportedly considering other options.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing any of Ziyech or Werner on loan for the second half of the season.

With the Blues still in four competitions, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be reluctant to lose any player.
