Burnley boss Sean Dyche admitted after the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday that the performance from Chelsea was excellent.
However, despite dominanting the game from start to finish against Burnley, Chelsea could only play a 1-1 draw.
Dyche said: “I think it’s an earned point in a different fashion today, you know Pope was fantastic, they were excellent.
“They’re a top side. We know that – they’re flying at the moment, top of the league, the feel of the place you know, and I thought they were terrific in the first half.
“I didn’t think we were necessarily miles off. They were just so strong in and out of possession.
“Smothered the game out of possession, and in possession, we know they’ve got some really talented players.”
