Chelsea have lost only once in the Premier League this season, and the Blues have also suffered only two defeats in all competitions.
The back to back losses against Manchester City and Juventus are the only two times Chelsea have tasted defeat this season, and since then the Blues have been unbeaten in the last eight matches.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have some tough fixtures coming up after the international break, as Thomas Tuchel’s side must be ready to face the likes of Leicester City, Juventus, Manchester United and West Ham.
On the 20th, Chelsea will be away to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium before hosting Juventus in the Champions League three days later.
Another tough fixture comes up on the 28th, as Chelsea host Manchester United. The Blues will then be away to London rivals West Ham on the 4th of December. The only easy game on paper is the visit to Vicarage Road to face Watford on December 1.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is well aware of the difficult games coming ahead, and has already warned his players of what’s to come after the international break.
“Looking at the fixtures in December and January, it’s a lot,” Chelsea head coach Tuchel told the club’s official website.
“The World Cup is coming and the international break travels so we decided here to give staff one week off completely and to give everybody the chance to recover also mentally and to recharge the batteries.
“December will be tough, January will be tough and it will continue like this so no more breaks [after that] and we want to push the team to the limit.
“That’s why we use the time now after the game to rest.”
