Chelsea player misses Germany training through injury

According to 90min, Chelsea star Kai Havertz did not train with Germany on either Tuesday or Wednesday after complaining of pain in his thigh.

Havertz’s discomfort in his thigh could be connected with his nasty clash with the advertising hoardings in the 1-1 draw with Burnley before the international break.

It’s hard to see this issue keeping Havertz out of Chelsea’s next game, a trip to Leicester on November 20, but it’ll have fans sweating nonetheless.

Speaking after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Burnley, Havertz said: “I had a lot of pain so I just thought I have to try to run again and sometimes in a game the pain goes away, but it was okay for me. I scored the goal so then you have good feelings and it is okay.”
