Chelsea star Christian Pulisic finally made his injury comeback as a second-half substitute in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Malmo in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The game against Malmo was Pulisic’s first game for Chelsea since he scored in the 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the opening day of the Premier League.

It has been a complicated start of the season for Pulisic as he tested positive for coronavirus forcing him to remain in quarantine for almost two weeks. After recovering from Covid-19, he suffered an ankle injury while on international duty with the United States.

Pulisic took to social media to reflect on his return to action for the Blues since August.

Posting on Instagram, he wrote: “It’s been too long.”

Mason Mount, who missed the game against Malmo due to illness, responded: “What we like to see!”

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta responded: “CP10 is back!”
