Frank Lampard set to be named as manager of Premier League club

According to talkSPORT, former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is set to be appointed as the new manager of Norwich City.

The Chelsea legend will replace Daniel Farke, who was sacked after the Canaries win over Brentford last weekend.

Lampard has been out of work since he was sacked by Chelsea in January, with the club ninth in the Premier League.

Lampard had a successful first season at Chelsea, guiding the club to a top four finish despite working under a transfer embargo.

“We have information here at talkSPORT that Norwich could well be set to announce the arrival of Frank Lampard,” Jim White confirmed on talkSPORT.

“It’s been a busy day so far, Steven Gerrard has gone south and is headed to Aston Villa, but whether that has accelerated Norwich’s search for a new manager to succeed Daniel Farke remains to be seen.

“But the information we’re getting at talkSPORT is that Frank Lampard is set to be announced at Norwich.

“Various pieces of various jigsaws are fitting into place, but this is moving.

“As Gerrard takes his place at Aston Villa, Frank is set to be installed at Norwich.”
