Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke has claimed Chelsea transfer target Eden Hazard has been forced to adapt his game due to his injuries in recent seasons.
Hazard has struggled with injuries since he left Chelsea for Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 and is now behind Vinicius and Rodrygo in the pecking order at Madrid.
The Blues are keen on bringing the Belgium international back to Stamford Bridge next year as it is believed he can return to his best form at Chelsea.
As reported by Diario AS, Benteke said: “Hazard has a history of important injuries and now he avoids more contact in his game.
“When you have had a past like this, you subconsciously think of it. But it’s not because he doesn’t dribble past five or six men.
“He doesn’t need to do that now to have a good game. Now he moves more intelligently on the field.”
