Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku last featured for the Blues in the 4-0 Champions League victory over Malmo last month.
Lukaku went off injured in the Champions League clash against the Swedish side as he had to be subbed off after 20 minutes of action.
The Belgian had resumed training last week, and the big ask is when he’d return to action.
Speaking to the media ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Juventus, Tuchel revealed that he’s not sure if Lukaku will be able to feature against the Italian side.
According to Tuchel, the final decision will be made tomorrow to determine whether Lukaku will be able to make the squad or not.
“I am not sure yet on Romelu,” Tuchel said.
“We have one more training, yesterday he was in team training and seemed okay. Let’s see about the reaction. He has right now today an appointment with the doctors and the physios to see about the reaction, to see about the next training.
“We have the chance to bring 20 players to the squad, maybe we have the chance that he is in the squad for the last minutes, but that will be the absolute maximum we can get out of the situation right now.”
