Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has proven to be an indispensable player for the Blues under Thomas Tuchel.
The 30-year-old has since become a mainstay for Chelsea in the middle of the park, and his performance has been classy as well.
For all of Jorginho’s success, he still gets criticised by some fans and pundits, but the Italy international has indeed shut the mouth of his critics with his performance this year.
Jorginho’s contract runs out in June 2023, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that talks of a new Jorginho deal at Chelsea is true, but he admitted that it’s not the priority for the club at this time.
“The agent of Jorginho was speaking in Italy this week that Marina Granovskaia already let us know that she wants to extend the contract of Jorginho,” said the transfer guru.
“It is true that Chelsea have a strong interest in extending Jorginho’s contract, but at the moment, it is not the priority.”
