Juventus have been handed an early injury blow ahead of the Champions League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge after the international break.

The Blues host Juventus in the Champions League on November 23rd and the Italian side could be without key defender and captain, Giorgio Chiellini.

The defender initially linked up with the Italian national team ahead of the current international break but has had to return to Turin to undergo tests on an Achilles injury, as per Tuttosport via Football London.

Chiellini is expected to miss Italy’s World Cup qualifying games and could also remain on the sidelines when club action returns.

He’s likely to miss Juventus Serie A game against Lazio and is also a huge doubt for the Champions League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Juventus sit top of Group H having won each of their opening four games while Chelsea are three points behind courtesy of the defeat to Juventus in Turin at the end of September.
