Only one Chelsea player made Premier League team of the week after Burnley draw

It was a fine Chelsea performance against Burnley over the weekend, but the Blues could only get a 1-1 draw in this game.

Chelsea dominated Burnley but missed several chances to score a goal, and were ultimately punished by Sean Dyche’s side.

Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi impressed in that game with a fine assist for Kai Havertz goal, and he was the only Chelsea player to make SofaScore’s Premier League team of the week.

The recently turned 21-year-old has been very impressive while playing in his natural position in attack, in the absence of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner.

Hudson-Odoi’s stats against Burnley was massive as he created joint-most chances (five) in the draw with Burnley, including three big chances.

He also only lost the ball seven times in the 85 minutes he played, fewer than any other outfield Chelsea player bar Thiago Silva.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
