Mendy: Barely had anything to do all game. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Did okay in the right wing-back position but didn’t put in the kind of attacking display that would hurt the Malmo at the back. Did better in the second half. 6/10

Christensen: Barely had much to do defensively and was part of the Chelsea defence to keep a clean sheet. 7/10

Thiago Silva: Very composed defending. Easy game at the back. 7/10

Rudiger: Solid at the back as he had little to do. Another clean sheet. 7/10

Alonso: Didn’t do much as he spent the bulk of his time in Malmo’s half. 6/10

Jorginho: Easy game in the middle of the park as he made things tick. 7/10

Loftus-Cheek: Sleek with his dribbles and very confident on the ball. Had some loose balls as well. 7/10

Ziyech: Great pace and desire to be at the right place to tap home Hudson-Odoi’s cross. Scored the only goal of the game. 7/10

Hudson-Odoi: Was a constant threat in attack. Looked dangerous whenever he had the ball, and his pass for Ziyech’s goal was brilliant. 7/10

Kai Havertz: Still haven’t done much in the absence of Lukaku and Werner. Had some good moments, but quiet game. 6/10

Barkley: 74th minute sub for Ziyech. Had one wayward shot after coming on. Did okay. 6/10

Pulisic: Made his return from injury. Missed a good chance to double the lead at the last minute. 6/10
