Everyone is waiting anxiously to know who will be named as the best player in the world for the year 2021.

The Ballon d’Or winner will be announced on November 29, and according to RTP Sports, Barcelona legend Lionel Messi has already been confirmed as the winner, and the Argentine is aware of the development.

RTP Sports claims that Messi will receive the Golden Ball at this year’s ceremony in Paris on 29th November – for a record seventh time.

The Argentine will reportedly pip long-term rival Cristiano Ronaldo, Jorginho, Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski to arguably the most prestigious individual prize in world football.

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho will most likely end up in the top 5 category after a stellar Champions League and Euro 2020 campaign where he ended up as Champions of Europe, but it’s yet to be seen if the Italy international can make the top three or even go on to win the award.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
