Chelsea right wing-back Reece James scored two top goals in last month’s 3-0 victory over Newcastle.

James scored two top class goals with both feet as Chelsea managed to break a stubborn Newcastle defence and win the game 3-0.

It was the first of the Reece James two goals against Newcastle that was voted by the Blues fans as Chelsea’s best goal in the month of October.

To score that goal, James converted a Callum Hudson-Odoi’s cross which was headed in his direction, as he fired home with a fine mix of power and precision. The 21-year-old scored a similar goal for the second, this time with his left foot, but Blues fans chose the first goal as the best for October.

According to the club’s report, in a poll of 30,000 Blues supporters, 42 per cent of those votes went to James goal, while the first of Mason Mount’s three goals in the 7-0 home win over Norwich City, came in second with 23 per cent, narrowly ahead of Ben Chilwell’s decisive strike in the 1-0 away win at Brentford.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
