Sevilla have reportedly revealed what Chelsea must do to sign French centre back Jules Kounde in 2022.
Chelsea were strongly linked with a move for Kounde during the summer but a move failed to materialise despite agreeing personal terms with the defender.
Kounde is one of the most in demand players in Europe at present, with Premier League rivals Manchester United also interested in the Frenchman.
According to Spanish media outlet Marca via Daily Star, Chelsea must wait until the summer in order to sign Kounde, with Sevilla not willing to do business in the new year.
Sevilla are unwilling to sell Kounde in January because they are fearful selling Kounde in the middle of the season would have a damaging effect and could even kill their campaign.
Kounde has so far played 13 out of their 16 matches in all competitions this season, with Sevilla currently third in La Liga and could still reach the Champions League knockout stages.
