Former Blue Thorgan Hazard has admitted that his brother Eden Hazard deserves his bench role at Real Madrid.

Eden Hazard is still a key player for the Belgium national team, but injury and a lack of form has cost him a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

Initially, upon his appointment as Real Madrid manager, Ancelotti gave a chance to Hazard to impress in his first few games in charge of the club, but Hazard didn’t take his chance with both hands.

In his stead, 21-year-old Vinicius has impressed while playing for Real Madrid, and Ancelotti has rather gone with a front three of Vinicius, Karim Benzema and Rodrygo.

Surprisingly, despite being Eden Hazard’s brother, Thorgan Hazard did not go with his personal sentiments but rather provided a logical statement over the issue, as he said that Vinicius deserves to start.

According to AS, Thorgan Hazard said: “Vinicius is currently playing in his position and is in top form. In addition, Real Madrid win their matches.”

Hazard is being linked with a summer exit, and Chelsea are believed to be interested in his signing.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
